Investing in Melton South?

It does not surprise us at all that Melton South is listed as one of the fastest growing suburbs in Australia!

Located just 35kms from Melbourne’s CBD it’s an affordable option with the median house price currently sitting at around the $405,000 mark. (Median rental price is $330.00 per week).

Melton’s Train Station is located right in the heart of Melton South between Staughton Street and Brooklyn Road.  There is also a second train station currently on track to open in late 2019 in Cobblebank, less than a 5-minute drive away on Ferris Road.

Station Square Shopping Centre had a major facelift in 2017 and there are another two approved shopping centres planned for the suburb, set to open in near future. One in Cobblebank near the new station, which is being described as a regional hub, the largest planned town centre in Melton. It will include space for retail use, tertiary education, sports and justice facilities, office use and residential use. Plus a health precinct around the proposed hospital. The second shopping centre will be located along Exford Road, the Opalia Shopping Centre boasting Woolworths, Chemist Warehouse, McDonalds, Aldi and KFC. This one is due to open in 2020.

There are both public and private options available with land already secured by the Victorian Government for another Primary School in Bridge Road, Strathtulloh. The Opalia Estate is also stating they have set aside land for a future government primary school.
